Africa has been developing in Golf for the last few years. Though Golf is foreign in the continent, majority of professional golf players are earning a living out playing the game of Golf. The game has seen many players awarded and winning in international tournaments. The sad thing is that at the moment the main players are coming from one country-South Africa. Among the Africa’s big games in Golf are Trevor Immelman, Retief Goosen, and Ernie Els. All the mentioned players can be found in golf courses in South Africa.
There are concerted efforts to promote the game among the youths in many countries. You can now get a golf club recruiting young people to be part of the   game. There are tournaments for the game that are being staged in some leading golf clubs in Africa. A golf club would go an extra mile to organize a tournament to attract publicity.
