Phil Mickelson, an American professional golf player, was born on June 16, 1970. He, who has won a total of 35 events on the PGA Tour and three major championships, is one of the foremost players of his generation. In his career, Phil Mickelson has attained 2nd rank in the world in multiple years. He graduated in the year 1998 from the University of San Diego high School. Afterwards, he graduated from Arizona State University in 1992 on a golf scholarship. He captured three Haskin Awards and three NCAA individual championships, during his time at Arizona State University and became the face of amateur golf in United States. He was the first left-hander who won the U.S, Amateur title in 1990. Phil Mickelson also won many PGA Tour tournaments which include the World Series of golf and the Byron Nelson Golf Classic, the Greater Hartford Open, the Colonial National Invitation and the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
