| Hybrid Golf
Hybrid club is an emerging category of golf club introduced to hit a golf ball. It is hard for many golf players to hit long irons (1-4 nos) because of the short course and tiny face of the clubhead. To avoid this, many players used fairywood which requires vast space for swinging. To solve this problem, hybrid golf was introduced that substitutes 1-4 irons with hybrids. A hybrid is characterized by a concave titanium or steel with a low, slightly curved face. Huge impulse is produced by its wood- like head on the ball which increases the angle of launch together with increased backspin on the ball. This produces a flight path that creates “stall” and “bite”. Hybrid is generally used for long shots and when the player feels uncomfortable to make a shot. It aids the golfer in solving difficult situations. Hybrids are usually used as proxy rather than as supplement for long irons.
