In the golf game the term Grand slam indicates winning all major golf championships in a single calendar year. But the concept of men’s grand slam has changed after a period of time. Today men’s Grand Slam is considered as winning four major championships of the golf in one calendar year. The following are the new main championships in an annual playing order: The Masters (April), United States Open Championship (June), The Open Championship (July) and PGA Championship (August). The term “Grand Slam was first used when Bobby Jones, one of the famous golfers, won four main golf events of the year 1930: the U.S Open Championship, the (British) Amateur Championship,  the United States Men’s Amateur Championship and The Open Championship. There are also a group of mains in Women’s golf. But none of the women have completed four-main Grand Slam. Babe Zaharias was the first woman who won three majors conducted in the year 1950.
